About Quicklog

Real-time product events for your whole team. Built by a developer who got tired of being the only one who knew what was happening.

The problem I kept seeing

After years of building products, I kept watching the same pattern repeat. Something would happen in production - a signup, a payment failure, an error - and the right people would find out last. Or not at all.

Marketing would ask "how many signups came in today?" and a developer would have to query the database. Leadership wanted to know if the big customer actually upgraded, so someone would check Stripe. Sales wanted to know the moment their prospect created an account. I would see errors in the logs, but the rest of the team would not know until I told them. The information existed. It was just scattered across tools that were never designed to give everyone a shared view.

Everyone was working around the same fragmentation. Slack alerts that scrolled past before anyone saw them. Analytics dashboards that showed data from hours ago. Database queries that only developers could run. The frustration was everywhere, across every team.

Why I built Quicklog

I wanted one place where the whole team could see what was happening in the product, right now. Not aggregated charts from yesterday. Not Slack messages buried in channels. A real-time stream of events that everyone could watch together, organized in a way that made sense, with full context on every event.

So I built it. Quicklog is a simple idea executed with care: send us your events, and your whole team sees them instantly. Channels keep things organized. Click any event to see who triggered it and what data was attached. Invite your team so everyone has the same view.

Privacy and security matter to me, so Quicklog is hosted entirely on European infrastructure. No venture capital, no growth-at-all-costs pressure. Just a useful tool that I wanted to use myself.

For people who ship

Quicklog is for founders, developers, and marketers who want clarity without complexity. If you have ever wished you could just see what was happening in your product without switching between five different tools, this is for you.

I am committed to improving Quicklog based on real feedback from real users. If you have ideas, suggestions, or just want to say hello, reach out at nicolaj@quicklog.io.
