For European companies and their customers, data residency matters. GDPR requires that personal data be handled with care, and storing it outside the EU adds complexity and risk. For everyone, reliability matters. If your event tracking fails during a critical moment, you lose visibility when you need it most.

Built for trust
Quicklog is hosted and stored entirely on European infrastructure. Your data never leaves the EU. This simplifies GDPR compliance and gives European companies confidence about data residency.
Authentication is handled through industry standards. The dashboard uses JWT-based authentication with OAuth 2.0 support for Google and GitHub single sign-on. The public API uses bearer token authentication with API keys that you can rotate at any time.
API keys are scoped to workspaces and projects. If a key is compromised, rotate it instantly without affecting other projects. Rate limiting prevents abuse and protects the platform. Your keys are stored as hashes, never in plaintext.
Event ingestion is idempotent. If a network issue causes your application to retry a request, we will not create duplicate events. This matters for notifications and analytics. You can retry safely, and your data stays accurate.
